i remember my laptop and my phone died within minutes of eachother. i didnt have a good feeling at all. My mom started screaming, My dad had tried to get up to get water. thats all he wanted, was water. He fell over and slammed his head on the night stand. we called the nurse and she came over. she told us he was going to die in a few hours and we should call everyone over here. i cant even keep it together as i write this. its not fair that he had to go. he was the best father anyone could ever ask for. everyone was in my parents room. just sitting around waiting for it to happen. I thought it was tourture. sitting around waiting for my dad to pass. i held his hand and i didnt want to let go. i couldnt.

My brothers were sitting on each side of the bed. just us kids in the room and my dad was struggling to breath. one biiig deep breath in, and a relaxed deep breath out. he kept his breathing regualr for a few times, then he took a breath in and just stopped. my brothers got nervous and shook him, and he let out the longest breath ever. my little brother said he saw his spirit leave his mouth.

It was just us kids in the room, my mom and grandma and grandpa were downstairs. i told my sister to go tell mom and she couldnt handle that she wasnt in the room when it happened. he waited for her and his mom to leave the room so he could die in peace.

Its been a year rick. I hope youre proud of me in everything ive done so far.
